Refund Policy
This Refund Policy ("Policy") sets forth the terms and conditions governing refund eligibility for all products, services, and subscription offerings provided by The Cyber Ledger. This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms of Service and is binding upon all users. We encourage you to review this Policy carefully prior to completing any purchase.
Policy Overview
The Cyber Ledger ("TCL", "Company", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to delivering high-quality cybersecurity education, professional development programs, and managed security services. In recognition of the predominantly digital and time-sensitive nature of our offerings, refund eligibility is strictly limited and subject to the specific conditions outlined in each applicable section of this Policy.
All refund determinations are made at TCL's sole and reasonable discretion. Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval. Where a refund is approved, it will be credited exclusively to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
Courses & Technical Labs
Delivery & Access
Digital course content and laboratory environments are deemed fully delivered at the point of access. Once a user has accessed any portion of a course or lab — including previews, introductory modules, or associated materials — the purchase is considered fulfilled and no refund shall be issued.
Eligible Refund Window
Refund requests for unaccessed courses or labs may be considered solely where no course content, lab environment, or associated digital asset has been accessed, and the request is formally submitted within 48 hours of the original transaction date. Requests submitted beyond this window will not be entertained under any circumstances.
Mentorship & Professional Development Programs
Conducted Sessions
Mentorship sessions that have been conducted in full or in part are deemed delivered and are not eligible for a refund, irrespective of the user's satisfaction with the outcome or subsequent disengagement from the program.
Advance Cancellation
A refund or session credit may be issued where a user provides formal written cancellation notice to TCL no fewer than 24 hours prior to the scheduled session commencement time. Cancellations received within the 24-hour window will be treated as attended sessions and will not qualify for a refund or rescheduling credit.
Live Cohort Programs
Non-Refundable Enrollment
All enrollments in live cohort programs — including but not limited to instructor-led bootcamps, structured group training cohorts, and time-bound collaborative programs — are strictly non-refundable upon confirmation of enrollment. Given the fixed-capacity, scheduled, and resource-intensive nature of live cohort delivery, TCL is unable to offer refunds under any circumstances once enrollment has been confirmed, regardless of attendance, completion status, or change in personal circumstances.
By completing enrollment in any live cohort program, you expressly acknowledge and accept that your payment is final and non-refundable, and that you have independently verified your availability and commitment prior to enrolling.
Subscription Plans
Refund Eligibility Window
Subscription-based plans are eligible for a full refund solely where a formal written cancellation and refund request is submitted to TCL within 24 hours of the initial subscription activation date. Requests submitted beyond this 24-hour window will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstances, and the subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
Renewals & Subsequent Billing Cycles
Refunds will not be issued for subscription renewals, auto-renewal charges, or any billing cycle beyond the initial activation period. It is the user's sole responsibility to cancel an active subscription prior to the renewal date to avoid future charges. TCL is not obligated to issue refunds for charges arising from failure to cancel in a timely manner.
Approved subscription refunds will result in immediate deactivation of the subscription and revocation of all associated access and entitlements upon processing.
Professional Security Services
Professional consulting and managed security service engagements are scoped, priced, and billed on the basis of time, resources, and effort committed by TCL. The following conditions apply:
- No refund shall be issued for any engagement in which work has commenced, regardless of the proportion of work completed at the time of the refund request
- Where a formal written cancellation request is received prior to commencement of any billable work, a partial refund may be considered at TCL's sole discretion, net of any administrative or preparatory costs already incurred
- Engagements governed by a separate Statement of Work ("SOW"), Master Services Agreement ("MSA"), or other executed contract shall be subject to the refund and cancellation terms stipulated in those documents, which shall supersede this Policy where applicable
Refund Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for a refund under this Policy, all of the following conditions must be satisfied at the time of the request:
- The refund request must be submitted within the applicable eligible window as specified for the relevant product or service category in this Policy
- The relevant service, content, or deliverable must not have been fully or substantially delivered, accessed, or consumed
- The account associated with the purchase must be in good standing and must not be subject to any active suspension, restriction, or investigation for policy violations
- The request must not be associated with, or arise from, any misuse, abuse, fraudulent activity, or breach of TCL's Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
- The original purchase must have been made directly through TCL's official platform; purchases made through third-party resellers or partners are subject to the refund policies of the respective third party
Refund Request Procedure
Submission Requirements
All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to the address specified in Section 11 of this Policy. Requests must include: full name, registered email address, order or transaction reference number, the specific product or service for which a refund is sought, and a clear statement of the grounds upon which the refund is being requested. Incomplete submissions may result in delays or rejection of the request.
Review & Determination
Upon receipt of a complete refund request, TCL will conduct a review and communicate its determination within 5 business days.
Processing Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed and credited to the original payment method within 5–10 business days from the date of approval, subject to processing timelines of the relevant payment service provider.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
Notwithstanding any other provision of this Policy, refunds shall not be issued under the following circumstances:
- The requested service, course, lab, or digital content has been fully delivered or accessed
- The refund request relates to a live cohort enrollment, regardless of attendance or circumstances
- The subscription refund request is submitted beyond the 24-hour activation window
- The request arises from a change of mind, shift in personal or professional priorities, or failure to utilise purchased access within any validity period
- The account has been suspended or terminated due to a breach of TCL's Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
- The purchase was made through a third-party platform, reseller, or promotional bundle not administered directly by TCL
- The refund request is accompanied by, or is suspected to be associated with, a chargeback initiated without prior engagement with TCL's support team
Amendments to this Policy
TCL reserves the right to revise, amend, or replace this Policy at any time at its sole discretion. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent revision. Where material changes are introduced, TCL will use reasonable efforts to notify registered users via platform notification or registered email.
Your continued use of TCL's platform or services following the publication of any updated Policy constitutes your binding acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the amended Policy, you must discontinue use of the platform and notify TCL in writing prior to your next billing date or service engagement.
