Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding contract between you and The Cyber Ledger. Please read this Agreement carefully before accessing or using our platform, services, or content. Your continued use signifies your unconditional acceptance of all terms set forth herein.
01 Corporate Identity
The Cyber Ledger ("TCL", "Company", "we", "us", or "our") is a professional cybersecurity training and managed services organisation delivering structured learning programs, immersive technical labs, expert-led mentorship, and enterprise-grade security advisory services.
By accessing or using any component of the TCL platform, you ("User", "you", "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by this Agreement and all applicable policies incorporated herein by reference. If you are entering into this Agreement on behalf of a legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
If you do not agree to any provision of this Agreement, you must immediately discontinue access to and use of our platform and services.
02 Scope of Services
TCL provides a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity-focused professional services, as further described below. The specific features and deliverables available to you will depend on your subscription tier, engagement type, and applicable agreements.
Structured Courses & Technical Labs
Curriculum-driven cybersecurity courses and scenario-based technical laboratories designed to simulate enterprise offensive and defensive security environments, providing verifiable, hands-on competency development.
Mentorship & Professional Development
Structured one-on-one and cohort-based mentorship engagements, delivered by vetted industry practitioners, designed to accelerate career progression and prepare participants for professional security roles and certifications.
Professional Security Services
Enterprise-grade cybersecurity professional services, including but not limited to vulnerability assessments, penetration testing scoping, security architecture reviews, and advisory consulting engagements, subject to separate service agreements.
TCL reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to modify, suspend, discontinue, or retire any service, feature, or content offering at any time. TCL shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
03 Account Registration & Security
Access to certain TCL services requires the creation and maintenance of a registered user account. By registering, you represent and warrant the following:
- All registration information submitted is accurate, current, and complete, and you will maintain its accuracy throughout the term of this Agreement
- You bear sole and full responsibility for all activity conducted under your account credentials, whether authorised by you or not
- You will implement and maintain adequate measures to safeguard your login credentials from unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse
- You will notify TCL immediately upon becoming aware of any actual or suspected unauthorised access to, or use of, your account
- You will not share, transfer, or sublicense account access to any third party without TCL's prior written consent
TCL reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account, at its sole discretion, where there is reasonable cause to believe this Agreement has been breached, applicable law has been violated, or platform integrity is at risk.
04 Payments, Billing & Refund Policy
Payment Processing
All financial transactions are processed exclusively through authorised third-party payment service providers in accordance with applicable financial regulations and industry-standard security protocols (PCI-DSS). TCL does not collect, store, or process payment card data directly on its systems. Your use of payment processing services is further governed by the terms and privacy policies of the respective payment provider.
Pricing, Modifications & Refunds
TCL reserves the right to revise its pricing structure at any time without prior notice. All fees are quoted exclusive of applicable taxes unless expressly stated otherwise. Unless an explicit written refund policy is presented at the point of purchase, or required by applicable consumer protection law, all transactions are final and non-refundable. Chargebacks initiated without prior engagement with TCL's support team may result in account suspension pending investigation.
By completing a purchase on the TCL platform, you unconditionally agree to the pricing, billing frequency, and payment terms as presented at checkout. You are responsible for ensuring that the payment method on file remains valid and that sufficient funds are available for any recurring or scheduled charges.
05 Acceptable Use Policy
Your use of the TCL platform is subject to this Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP"). By accessing our services, you agree that you will not, under any circumstances, directly or indirectly:
- Use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations, including but not limited to cybercrime statutes, data protection legislation, and export control laws
- Exploit, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of TCL's systems or networks, or attempt to circumvent any security or authentication measures without express written authorisation
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, license, sublicense, or otherwise exploit any portion of TCL's content, platform, or services for commercial or non-commercial purposes without prior written consent
- Engage in conduct that is harassing, abusive, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise harmful toward other users, mentors, staff, or third parties associated with TCL
- Introduce malicious code, disrupt service availability, or interfere with the integrity or performance of TCL's infrastructure
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with TCL or any other organisation
Violations of this AUP may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination without prior notice or liability to you. TCL reserves the right to report credible violations to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
06 Cybersecurity Ethics & Responsible Use
Strictly Educational Purpose
All technical content, lab environments, course materials, and instructional resources provided by TCL are made available exclusively for lawful, ethical, and educational purposes. The knowledge and skills developed through TCL's platform are intended solely for defensive security practice, professional development, and authorised security assessments.
User Liability & Indemnification
You bear sole and exclusive responsibility for the application of any knowledge, tools, techniques, or methodologies acquired through the TCL platform. TCL expressly disclaims any and all liability arising from the misuse, unauthorised application, or unlawful deployment of such knowledge. Any engagement in offensive security activities must be performed only on systems and networks for which you hold explicit, documented authorisation from the rightful owner.
07 Intellectual Property Rights
All content hosted on or delivered through the TCL platform — including but not limited to course materials, lab environments, assessments, written content, software, branding, trademarks, trade names, logos, and proprietary methodologies — is and shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of The Cyber Ledger or its licensed content providers, and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
No rights, licences, or interests in TCL's intellectual property are transferred to you by virtue of accessing our platform or completing any course or program. Any unauthorised reproduction, distribution, modification, public display, resale, sublicensing, or commercial exploitation of TCL content, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited and may give rise to civil and criminal liability.
Requests for licensing or permitted use of TCL content must be submitted in writing to the contact address specified in Section 11 of this Agreement.
08 Suspension & Termination
TCL reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your access to the platform and all associated services, in whole or in part, where TCL reasonably determines that:
- You have breached any provision of this Agreement or any applicable supplemental policy
- Your conduct poses a risk to the security, integrity, or reputation of TCL or its user community
- You have provided false or misleading information in connection with your account or any service engagement
- Required by applicable law, regulation, or order of a competent authority
Upon termination, your right to access and use the platform ceases immediately. All provisions of this Agreement which by their nature should survive termination — including but not limited to intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, and indemnification obligations — shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
09 Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The TCL platform and all associated services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without representations or warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. TCL does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TCL, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunity, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the platform or any services, regardless of the theory of liability and even if TCL has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall TCL's aggregate cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under or in connection with this Agreement exceed the total fees paid by you to TCL in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10 Amendments to this Agreement
TCL reserves the right to revise, amend, or replace this Agreement at any time at its sole discretion. Where material changes are made, TCL will use reasonable efforts to provide notice through the platform or via registered email. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document will reflect the date of the most recent revision.
Your continued access to or use of the TCL platform following the publication of any updated Agreement constitutes your binding acceptance of all such changes. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately and notify TCL in writing at the contact address below.
11 Governing Law & Contact Information
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
